What does getting Porcelain Veneers entail?

In as little as two appointments, requiring little or no anesthesia, veneers will keep people guessing about what’s new with you, while you enjoy all the complements! During your first appointment, teeth that are to receive porcelain veneers will be lightly buffed and shaped as needed to allow for the thickness of the veneer. When shaping is complete, a mold (or impression) of the teeth will be made, to serve as a pattern for the veneers to fit, and a color (shade) will be selected by you, and our master technician and customized specifically to you.

On your second visit, the teeth will be cleaned with special liquids to prepare them for a durable bond. Dr. Raanan will place bonding cement between the veneer and the tooth, a special light is then used to cure the cement.
